South San Francisco’s Sky Cafe presents Asian American Jazz Series on Saturdays in January 2024

The Sky Cafe, Chris Trinidad Music, Asian Improv aRts, and the Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center are proud to present “Directions in Music Making by Asian American (and Canadian!) Improvisers” a brunch concert series on four consecutive Saturdays 12p-2:30p in January 2024.
The series will feature bassist and bandleader Chris Trinidad’s trio with saxophonist and composer Francis Wong, and drummers Aaron Kierbel and Carrie Jahde.
The Trio will be joined by:

• jazz poet Genny Lim (January 6)

• flutist Erika Oba (January 13)

• kulintang artist Conrad J. Benedicto (January 20)

• guitarist Karl Evangelista (January 27)
